If you want to connect your accommodations to Booking.com for the first time and you don’t have an account with the portal, you’ll need to generate a LEID. Previously, creating the Legal Entity ID (LEID) required having an active Booking.com account with at least one listing created, signing the contract in the Booking.com extranet, and waiting for the portal to generate it. Now, you can complete this process directly from Channel PRO, making activation faster, clearer, and much simpler.
What is the Legal Entity ID?
The LEID is a unique numeric code that identifies your company within Booking.com.
It is not the hotel ID for each listing.
It is generated based on the country where your properties are located.
It is essential for connecting to Booking.com through Channel PRO.
How to generate your LEID step by step
Start the Booking.com activation in Channel PRO.
In step 4, indicate whether you already have a LEID:
Review and confirm your company information (it loads automatically from the VRMS, but you can edit it).
Indicate the countries where your accommodations are located.
Click Confirm to generate the LEID.
You’ll receive an email from Booking.com with a link to sign the contract.
The generated LEID will appear at the top of the page. From there, you can complete the remaining general settings before clicking next to establish the connection with Booking.com.
👉 Pay attention to the details: make sure you have access to the email address you provide at this step, as you’ll receive the contract to sign there.
Contracts by country
The Country contract field lets you add the countries where you have active accommodations.
If you acquire properties in new countries later, you can add them from the general portal settings.
When you do, Booking.com will send you an addendum to the main contract that you’ll need to sign.
The new country will be marked as “pending signature” until Booking.com confirms the process (this can take 24 to 48 hours).
Review and manage your contract
Once you’re connected to Booking.com, in the Contract information section you can:
See the contract status (signed or pending).
Review your current company details.
Check the list of included countries.
Add new countries to your current contract.
Best practices
Always check that the company information shown in step 4 is correct before confirming.
Save the confirmation email sent by Booking.com after generating your LEID: it will be your main reference.
If you manage properties in several countries, regularly review your contract to make sure all are included.
