What is the property profile?

The property profile in Channel PRO corresponds to the "Your Profile" section in the Booking.com extranet.

Here you can include key information such as:

  • The name of the host or management company

  • The host's photo or the company logo

  • Details about the accommodation, the host, and the neighborhood

Everything you set up in Channel PRO will automatically sync with Booking.com, both in partial connection and full connection (not compatible with Single Rate connection).

How to create my profile: step by step

  1. Log in to Channel PRO → portal settings → "Property Profile" section.

  2. Click "Add" or the "Create a new profile" link if you haven't set one up yet.

  3. Enter a profile name (for internal use in Channel PRO).

  4. Assign the properties you want to link. Only those that are active and connected to Booking.com will appear.

  5. Select the profile type:

    • "Host profile" if you manage the property personally.

    • "Company profile" if you manage it through your company.

  6. Fill in the fields:

    • Host or company name.

    • Profile image (host photo or company logo)*

    • Property details (opening date, construction, last renovation).

    • Additional information: You can add as many languages as you want in the Languages field. For each language selected, you must add the description in that language, since Booking.com will not translate them automatically.

  7. Click Save to apply the changes.

If you have already created a profile in Channel PRO, the "create a new profile" link will no longer appear. Click add to create more property profiles.

*Minimum profile image requirements

  • Minimum dimensions: 300 × 300 pixels

  • Maximum dimensions: 14,000 × 14,000 pixels

  • Maximum size: 50 MB

Helpful tips for an attractive profile

  • About the property: What makes the accommodation unique and how can it help guests feel welcome? Think about the decor, amenities offered, and special features. Don't add house rules here, as rules are synced or added in the policies section.

  • About the neighborhood: What do guests like most about the neighborhood? Include tips about the area, local attractions, and points of interest like museums, restaurants, or famous places.

  • About the company/host and welcome message: Help guests feel comfortable and excited about their trip with a short welcome message. You can add information about personal interests or hobbies.

IMPORTANT

Due to a limitation in the http://Booking.com API, profiles saved with assigned accommodations can be edited but cannot be deleted. Profiles without assigned accommodations can be deleted from Channel PRO. If you want to delete a profile with assigned accommodations, you must do so from the portal's extranet.

Frequently asked questions

Can I have multiple profiles for different accommodations?
Yes. You can create as many profiles as you want and assign them to one or more IDs.

Only if it doesn't have accommodations assigned. If it's already linked, you'll need to delete it from the Booking.com extranet.

Do I need to translate the descriptions?
Yes. Booking.com does not automatically translate content: you must add the text in each language you want to display.

What happens if I change the logo or host photo?
It will automatically update on all properties linked to the profile.
