Activate your accommodations on the right portals

Having your accommodations visible on the right portals is key to reaching more customers and increasing your booking opportunities. With Avantio, activating or deactivating properties on different channels is a quick process that you can easily manage from the Channel Manager.

Activate or deactivate accommodations on other portals

To ensure your properties reach as many customers as possible, it is essential to keep them active on all sales portals. With Avantio, linking and managing accommodations on other channels is simple and can be done directly from the Channel Manager.

Setup process

Follow these steps to activate and link your Avantio accommodations with other portals:

  1. In the VRMS, access the Channel Manager from the Channel PRO tab. Path: VRMS → Channel PRO → Channel Manager.

  2. In the portal list, click ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE ACCOMMODATIONS.

  3. Tick the box for the portal where you want to activate your accommodation.

  4. Click Save to complete the process.

Keeping the visibility of your accommodations updated across the different portals is essential to make the most of your website’s potential.

Thanks to Avantio’s Channel Manager, you can activate or deactivate properties easily and make sure they are always available on the strategic channels for your business.

Best practices

  • Review which portals you have active on a regular basis and confirm that the accommodations you want to sell are correctly selected.

  • After any change, verify that the settings have been saved and that the accommodation’s visibility is reflected on each channel.

By default, all accommodations activated in the VRMS are also activated on your booking website.

To deactivate an accommodation from your website, go to:

  1. ChannelPRO

  2. Channel v. 1.0

  3. ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE ACCOMMODATIONS

  4. Select the accommodations to keep active on the website

  5. Save

Where can I activate or deactivate my accommodations on other portals?

In the VRMS, go to VRMS → Channel PRO → Channel Manager and use the “ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE ACCOMMODATIONS” option.

Can I choose which portal to activate each accommodation on?

Yes. Tick the box for the portal where you want to activate the accommodation and leave the others unticked.
