Start issuing proformas now

Proformas are very useful documents when you need to send your client a quote or an advance summary before generating the final invoice. They don't have tax value, but they do provide transparency and help avoid misunderstandings. And the best part: in Avantio you can create them in just a few steps.

Two ways to issue a proforma

In Avantio, you have two ways to generate a proforma: from the Invoicing section or directly from the booking details. Both options are quick and easy.

Option 1: From the Invoicing section

  1. Go to Accounting → Invoicing → Issue invoices from bookings.

  2. Find and select the booking for which you want to issue the proforma.

  3. Click on “Actions” → “Create proforma”.

  4. Check that all fields are complete and correct.

  5. Click “Save” to finish.

Option 2: From the booking details

  1. Go to the relevant booking details page.

  2. Click on Actions → Invoice → Create proforma.

  3. Make sure the information is correct.

  4. Click “Save” to finish.

Helpful tip
Before saving, make sure the proforma clearly shows the scope and amount expected. The more accurate the information, the fewer questions your client will have.
