Create Your Self-Invoice in Avantio

With the Self-Invoice module, you can issue invoices where:

  • Issuer = Owner

  • Recipient = Agency

These invoices are generated from an already completed settlement, using the information it contains.

Benefits of Self-Invoicing

  • Issue self-invoices with just a few clicks.

  • Save time and resources managing settlements and invoices.

  • Complete the entire process within Avantio, without external systems.

  • Improve relationships with owners thanks to faster and more transparent management.

Who is this tool for?

For agencies with a For Sale contract with the owner:

  • The agency invoices the guest for the total booking amount (from Accounting in Avantio).

  • The owner invoices the agency for their commission through the self-invoice.

Step-by-Step Configuration

  1. Set up the owner's company details

    • In the owner's profile, you'll find a field to add their company name.

    • To issue self-invoices, you must complete:

      • Company details.

      • Invoice series and numbering.

  2. Complete the property settlement

    • The Self-Invoice can only be generated from a completed settlement.

  3. Issue the Self-Invoice

    • Once the settlement is in Completed Settlements:

    • Click the "Actions" button and select "Issue Self-Invoice".

    • The system will display a panel with the items to include:

      • Bookings (required).

      • Expenses to be invoiced (optional).

      • Prepayments (optional).

  • Possible customizations

    • Issue date.

    • Series and numbering.

    • Invoice template.

    • Payment method.

When you click "Issue", the invoice will be generated with the selected items. You can view it under "View invoice".

Related Documents

In each settlement, within the "Related Documents" section, you can:

  • Print the Self-Invoice.

  • View the Self-Invoice.

  • Delete the Self-Invoice.

Other Important Points

  • If the owner does not have company details set up, the Self-Invoice cannot be issued.

  • You cannot issue more than one Self-Invoice for the same settlement.

  • If an error occurs, the system will show what needs to be configured to fix it.

Editable Template

The template can be found in Templates → Accounting Documents.
It's recommended to duplicate the default template and work on the copy, so you always have an unmodified base version.

The Self-Invoice module allows agencies to manage this process more quickly, efficiently, and transparently, saving time and ensuring clarity.
