The process is simpler than it seems, as much of the management is done directly by the Expedia team.

Before activating the portal in the Channel Manager you must:

  1. Register with Expedia
    Go to the official Expedia page and complete the registration form with your company details. This will be the starting point for them to identify you as a new partner.

  2. Wait for an agent to contact you
    After registration, an Expedia sales representative will contact you. They will be your link throughout the process and will resolve any initial questions that may arise.

  3. Inform about the connection with Avantio
    From the very beginning, mention that you want to connect your accommodations through the Avantio Channel Manager. This detail is crucial for the team to prepare the correct configuration from the start.

  4. Close the commercial agreement
    Once the terms are clarified, you will need to sign the contract with Expedia. This step is essential: without an active agreement, the integration cannot be completed.

  5. Final configuration in Expedia
    The Expedia technical team will configure the connection and make the necessary adjustments to synchronize your accommodations.

Expedia activation in Avantio's Channel Manager (Single rate Connection)

  1. Go to Channel PRO in Avantio.

  2. Scroll down to the Channel v1.0 tab

  3. Click on Add Channel

  4. A list of all available portals will appear, look for Expedia and click on connect.

  5. A new window will detail general connection instructions as well as instructions related to Expedia. Click on the two boxes at the bottom to confirm you have a contract with the portal and that you have read the general terms of the contract.

  6. Click on connect to finalise the process and the portal will appear in the list of connected channels within the Channel v 1.0 tab.

Optional: Price Increase

  • Click Configure under Expedia to apply a price increase.

  • Click Save to confirm the changes.

Once the portal has been connected, you may start activating your properties with Expedia via the single rate connection
