Understand and Apply the Cedolare Secca
Since 2017, income from short-term rentals in Italy can be declared using the Cedolare Secca (21 %), a substitute tax that replaces the IRPEF and regional and municipal surcharges. For contracts under 30 days, there's no need to register them with the Agenzia delle Entrate, so no registration or stamp taxes apply.

How to Activate Automatic Calculation
Access the owner's contract.
Click on "More options."
Check the "Cedolare Secca" box.
Indicate the percentage to be applied.
Select whether the calculation will be done in the booking or in the settlement.
From that moment on, all new bookings will have the automatic calculation applied.
Attention to Details
The calculation is not retroactive (does not affect previous bookings).
It only applies to bookings with "paid" status.
In the settlement, you can decide whether or not to include the Cedolare in the final model.
Recent Features of the Cedolare Secca in Avantio
The Cedolare secca is only available in the settlement when the booking settlement is ready.
It applies to both manual and automatic balances.
