Enable web service sending to connect SES.Hospedajes with Avantio

To automatically send mandatory traveler communications from Avantio, you first need to register with SES.Hospedajes, register your properties/establishments, obtain the certificate for web service sending, and finally configure your credentials in the VRMS. This article guides you through the entire process.

1) Account registration in SES.Hospedajes

  • Go to the Ministry of the Interior Headquarters and choose the procedure “Accommodations and vehicle rentals”. You will see two accesses:

  • Registration form:

    • Check the box for “sending communications via web service”. This is essential to connect SES.Hospedajes with Avantio.

  • Web service credentials:

    • After completing the registration, you will receive the credentials for web service sending via email from the address [email protected]. The confirmation message includes access details (example in screenshot).

2) Register properties/establishments

Once inside SES.Hospedajes, register your properties following Annex I:

  • A-1: Data of leasing company.

  • A-2: Data of the establishment for professionals.

  • B-1: Data of the property owner.

  • B-2: Data of the establishment for NON-professionals.

Upon completing the registration, you will receive a confirmation email from SES.Hospedajes and you can consult/edit the accommodations in the platform's list. (Examples in screenshot)

3) Request the certificate for the web service

To send reports via Avantio's web service, you need to request a specific certificate from SES.Hospedajes. This certificate must be in one of the following formats, accepted by the VRMS: .pfx, .crt, .cer, or .pm

There are two ways to obtain it:

3.1 Via email

  • You can request it by email from SES.Hospedajes. Here is an example of how one of our customers requested it:

4) Where to change the password in Accommodations for sending communications via web service?

Once you have received the credentials for web services, you can change and personalize the password:

Do not change this key from “My profile”, as it would modify the platform access password, not the web service user password needed for sending from Avantio.

Quick verification checklist

  • Register with SES.Hospedajes.

  • Register the properties/establishments following Annex I.

  • Obtain the certificate for the web service in .pfx, .crt, .cer, or .pm format.

  • Request the certificate by email from SES.Hospedajes.

  • Download the certificate directly from the platform.

  • Change the web service user password from "Communication Service → Manage my web service access credentials" (optional).

  • Configure SES.Hospedajes in Avantio (VRMS) with the obtained credentials/data.

  • Review the export data list daily to detect errors due to missing mandatory data.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I check the sent communications and their status at the Headquarters?
Yes. The application allows you to check the communications made and their status from the consultation and sending access of the “Accommodations and vehicle rentals” procedure.

What happens if I don't check “web service” when registering?
You won't be able to connect with Avantio. You must check that box and complete the registration with a digital signature to receive the credentials by email.

Where do I change the web service password if I forgot it?
In Communication Service → Manage my web service access credentials. Not in “My profile”.
