Step by step: Activate an accommodation
Go to Channel PRO
Open the Accommodation Activation tab
Switch to Airbnb in the menu
You'll see a list of active properties in Avantio (VRMS). Select the accommodation you want to publish.
Click the activation button and fill in the fields:
Associated account: if you have more than one Airbnb account linked in ChannelPRO, select the account you want to sync the accommodation with
Advertisement type: create a new advertisement or link the property to an existing one. If you choose the second option, you'll see all existing Airbnb advertisements assigned to the previously selected account under Associated Advertisement. You can also enter the Airbnb advertisement ID directly.
Click Accept to activate your property
Tip:
When you activate a property, the default settings you previously configured during the portal connection for that accommodation are automatically applied. If you want to change these settings for specific accommodations, you can do so from the configuration menu of each property.

In each property's menu, you'll also find the option to add the Minimum stay required by Airbnb for properties subject to regulatory restrictions.
If there are no restrictions in your area, you don't need to change anything. Just leave the default setting (0 nights).
Important tip: To reapply the default portal configuration settings, click the "Use Company configuration" icon:
Step by step: Deactivate an accommodation
Go to the "Accommodation Activation" tab
Switch to Airbnb in the menu
Click the activation/deactivation button to start deactivation
You'll now need to tell Airbnb the reason for deactivation. The system will show you a dropdown with reasons and sub-reasons (example: "My space is not available" > "I'm moving").
If you select "Other reasons", a text field will open for you to explain
Click disconnect to confirm
Pay attention to the details: when you deactivate a property, syncing stops and the advertisement is unpublished from Airbnb. (Also, Avantio will no longer appear as connected software via API, so you can manage the advertisement manually on Airbnb if you wish.)
Change the association of a property
Did you activate an accommodation with the wrong ID? No problem:
First deactivate the accommodation, then activate it again by selecting the correct Airbnb advertisement to associate it with.
Activating or deactivating accommodations from Avantio gives you flexibility and control. Whether you want to pause an advertisement, re-associate a property, or return to manual management, you can do it easily from Channel PRO.
