Start by Activating the New Advertisement Promotion
Activate and manage Airbnb's new advertisement promotion directly from Channel PRO to speed up your first bookings, improve your ranking, and start receiving reviews as soon as possible.
Learn About the Available Promotions
Airbnb offers two types of promotions. Only one can be managed from Channel PRO:
New Listing Promotion: This promotion gives a 20% discount to new advertisements for their first 3 bookings. To assign this promotion, the advertisement must meet the following requirements:
“Smart Pricing” must not be enabled on Airbnb
Advertisements must have fewer than 3 bookings
IMPORTANT:
The promotion will automatically expire once the advertisement has received 3 bookings.
Custom Promotion: This can only be set up in the Airbnb extranet. It is not available through Channel PRO or the API.
Manage the New Advertisement Promotion from Channel PRO
From Channel PRO you can create, edit, and remove the New Listing Promotion.
How It Works
If you have an active connection with Airbnb and have already created promotions on the platform, Channel PRO will detect them and display them in your dashboard for management.
When you create a new advertisement from Channel PRO, you'll see a message to activate the 20% promotion if the advertisement meets the requirements.
You can remove the promotion from the Promotions section in Channel PRO whenever you need.
Follow These Steps to Manage It
Go to the Channel PRO dashboard.
In the side menu, go to Promotions.
Find Airbnb
Take the necessary actions:
Add new accommodations that meet the requirements.
Remove accommodations if you no longer want to apply the promotion to them.
Save your changes.
This is how it looks when creating or editing new advertisement promotions:
If Airbnb does not send information for any advertisement that meets the requirements, you will see a notice saying that there are no advertisements available for this promotion. As soon as one becomes eligible, it will appear in the list for you to assign.
This is a closed promotion that always applies a 20% discount and is only valid for the first 3 bookings, so the only available options are to add or remove accommodations.
