Understand what it is and why to activate it

Mobile rates are promotions with a discount visible only on the Booking.com app or mobile web. When you activate them, your listing displays a special badge and gains visibility over the competition. Currently, most bookings are made through mobile devices, so having this promotion active will help your listing stand out from the rest.

Tip:
Booking.com allows a minimum discount of 10%, and recommends 15% to maximize impact.

Set up the mobile rate step by step

The mobile promotion is set up differently from other discounts, including Last Minute and Early Booker promotions.

  1. Log in to Channel PRO

  2. Go to the Price Modifiers section

  3. Then click on Promotions

  4. By default, Booking.com promotions will be displayed

  5. Create a New Promotion

  6. Choose Mobile Rate:

7. Complete the promotion conditions:

  • Promotion name: only visible in Channel PRO, not synced to Booking.

  • Platform: select if it applies only in the app or also on the mobile web.

  • Discount: set the percentage (minimum 10%).

  • Availability period: mobile rates are active all year round, but you can select up to 30 days when they do not apply. These 30 days can be consecutive or individual dates. Example:

8. Click Continue to assign the promotion: you can choose to apply it to just some properties or to all of them.

9. Save the configuration. The promotion will be activated and automatically synced with Booking.com.

Understand when the discount is shown

The discount will automatically appear in the Promotions section of the Booking extranet as follows:

Manage and adjust the promotion whenever you need

From the promotions panel in Channel PRO, you can view and edit the conditions at any time, or delete them if you no longer want to keep it active.


Frequently Asked Questions

Can I deactivate the mobile rate on specific dates?

Yes. You can exclude up to 30 days per year when the discount does not apply, either as a single block or spread out.

Can I edit the mobile rate after it's created?

Yes. You can change the percentage, the platform it applies to, and the exclusion days from the promotions panel in Channel PRO.
