Main alerts and how to resolve them

When you connect your property with Booking.com through Channel PRO, certain alerts may appear. These are not problems, but notifications to help you spot missing information or settings you need to review so the connection works smoothly. Knowing these messages and how to fix them will save you time and frustration.

Contact and company details

  • EMPTY_EMAIL: Email address is missing. Add it in the company configuration.

  • MULTIPLE_EMAILS_NOT_ALLOWED: Multiple emails are not allowed. Make sure to enter only one valid email address.

  • INVALID_LEGAL_ENTITY: The property is in a country that is not authorized. You need to contact our customer support team.

  • REQUIRED_DATA_INVOICE_DATA_NAME: Invoicing details or the signed contract are missing. Check this in the company configuration.

Property location and features

  • DUPLICATED_HOTEL_ADDRESS: There is already a property with this address or coordinates. Update the listing with different details.

  • POSTAL_CODE_WRONG_COUNTRY: The postal code does not match the selected country. Update this information in the property listing.

  • NO_AMENITIES: Additional features are missing. Complete this information in the listing.

  • NO_KITCHENETTE: You must specify a kitchen or kitchenette. Add this in the advanced features.

Regulations and legal requirements

  • REGULATION_DATA_PROPERTY_MANAGED_REQUIRED: Administrative management details are missing.

  • REGULATION_DATA_REGISTRATION_NUMBER_REQUIRED: A tourism registration number is required.

  • REGULATION_DATA_REGISTRATION_NUMBER_INVALID: The tourism registration number format is invalid.

  • REGULATION_DATA_TYPE_RESIDENCE_REQUIRED: You must specify the property type (e.g. tourist home, apartment, etc.).

  • TAX_INFO_REQUIRED: Tax information is missing (VAT, commercial registration, tax declaration).

Bookings and occupancy configuration

  • ROOM_OCCUPANCY_DISCREPANCY: The maximum occupancy in VRMS does not match the one in Booking.com. Check both configurations.

  • CANCELLATION_POLICY_DISCREPANCY: The cancellation policy used is not valid. Adjust the policies in VRMS and on Booking.com.

Permissions and access

  • PERMISSION_DENIED: You do not have permission to access the property on Booking.com. Contact our support team.


Helpful tips

  • Before activating a property, make sure all required fields are complete: address, tourism registration, tax information, and invoicing.

  • If an alert says "contact customer support," don't try to force the change yourself—you'll save time by reaching out to us directly.
