Available Connection Types with the Content API

There are two types of connection with the Content API:

  1. Full connection: both rates and availability, as well as content (photos, services, features, etc.), are synchronized.

  2. Partial connection: only rates and availability are synchronized, while content is managed directly from the Booking.com extranet.

👉 Before activating the connection, you need to choose one of these options, but you can always request a change later from our team. The connection type is set at the account level, not per property.

What Information Is Synchronized

Avantio sends all your VRMS information to Booking.com. However, what is ultimately published on the portal depends on the compatibilities of the Content API.

The data that is typically synchronized includes:

  • Availability and rates

  • Cancellation policies

  • VAT and other configured taxes

  • Property information (photos, services, Extras)

  • Stay conditions
