When a Hotel ID already exists in your Booking.com account and you want to link it to an Avantio property to activate it in Channel PRO, you must first request approval for that Hotel ID.
To do this, you first need to add Avantio as your connectivity provider from your Booking.com account. Once you send the request, Avantio will receive it and approve the Hotel ID.
Only after this approval will you be able to continue linking the Booking.com Hotel ID to the corresponding property in Avantio.
Steps to set up Avantio as your connectivity provider in Booking.com:
Log in to your Booking.com account
Select a property from the main page (Group home page)
Go to Connectivity Provider from the menu next to your profile
If you are already connected to another provider, click on Change connectivity provider
Search for Avantio in the search bar
Leave all permissions selected (including extranet access) and click Accept and connect
Repeat this process for each property you want to connect with Avantio
We will receive the request for the new Hotel ID to approve it. Once it’s approved, you can continue with the property activation from channelpro.
Important:
Please note that once the connection request is sent, the property’s availability will be closed until the connection is complete.
These steps must be completed at least 6 hours before our connection call.
