Before connecting
To connect with Google Vacation Rentals, you must have an AVANTIO website or partial Web API connected to Google Vacation Rentals so that listings redirect correctly to the booking process.
Google Vacation Rentals activation process
Go to Channel PRO from the top tab on the VRMS home screen.
Click Connect on Google to start the activation process.
3. Read and accept all the information shown. During this process you can:
Review portal compatibilities.
Confirm minimum requirements.
Configure the portal's default settings.
You don't need an individual contract with Google; the connection is made directly from Channel PRO. |
General settings configuration
Configure your company's VAT, name and logo from Portal activation → Configure.
Your company name will appear in Google results; separate words correctly (e.g. “Ambiance Premium” instead of “AmbiancePremium”).
Upload the logo meeting these requirements:
Image requirements:
Minimum size of 72 × 72 pixels
Square dimensions
Maximum of three text characters in the icon
PNG format
Transparent or non-white background
No more than three text characters per icon.
This means the logo must be an icon and cannot include more than three letters in its design.

It's very important to respect this point, as the system cannot automatically validate this requirement within the PNG file. Even if the connection from the channel is allowed, Google may reject it during its review process.
4. Click Connect your properties to finish the connection.
Activating individual properties
Go to Channel PRO from the top menu bar.
In the left-side menu, click Property activation.
Select Google in the portals dropdown menu.
Find your property in the activation list.
On the right-hand side, click the activation/deactivation button to start syncing to the portal.
If information is missing, an alert will appear with details on how to complete it. Click the property's box and you'll be shown what information is required and redirected to the property's record to resolve the issue.
⚠️ Pay attention to the details: The connection with Google Vacation Rentals is strictly linked to your website. Therefore:

IMPORTANT: It is not possible to configure release, price increases or custom rules from Channel PRO. If you have a price increase or a release configured on the website, it will automatically apply to Google to ensure prices match. |
REMEMBER: After activating properties in Channel PRO, Google will review the properties before they appear Live. This process can take between 2 and 3 weeks. During this period, properties will appear in Channel PRO with the status “Publishing”, indicating they are under review by Google. Once Google validates and approves the information, the portal will automatically sync the status and change it to “Published”, confirming the properties are now active. |
Minimum requirements
Before starting the process, make sure you meet the following requirements:
Properties must be active on your website.
Complete address for each property (street, postal code, city, province and GPS coordinates).
Photos: minimum 8 per property (20 recommended); minimum size 1024 x 683 px (ideally 1920 x 1080 px).
Description: in at least one language (automatic or custom).
Rates, availability and occupancy rules: up to date; 18 months in advance is suggested.
Property type compatible with Google.
Allowed: Apartment, Villa, Country House, Studio, House, Boat, Chalet, Bungalow, Rural House, Flat, Townhouse, Motorhome, Penthouse, Condominium, Village House, Trullo
Not allowed: Hotel, Aparthotel, Resort, Bed & Breakfast, Farm Stay
Deactivating properties
To deactivate a property:
In the Property activation section, find the property you want to disconnect.
Click the activation/deactivation button on the right-hand side.
