When switching payment platforms, it’s important to note that card data is not migrated from one platform to another.

What happens to pending payments

If you switch from one integrated platform to another (for example, from Stripe to Planet), two scenarios may occur:

  • While both platforms remain active (contractually), pending payments will be charged to the originally tokenized card.

  • If the connection with Stripe is removed, Avantio Payments will request the guest’s card details again, following the configured automation rules.
