When managing multiple Bookings, Owners, and tasks each day, having tools that centralize information is essential. The Notifications and Search Bar in VRMS are designed to keep you informed and help you find what you need in seconds—saving time and improving your operational control.

Notifications

VRMS Notifications alert you in real time to important changes, even when the application is not open. This way, you gain peace of mind and control.

Types of notifications available

The system includes alerts in several key areas:

  • Check-in: new and modified check-ins.

  • Guest Area: new Extras requests and arrival organization.

  • Operations: assigned tasks, cancellations, modifications, incidents, and comments.

  • Payments: successful and failed payments.

  • Portals: new Bookings, cancellations, modifications, or availability requests.

  • Processes: Accommodation importer and completed processes.

  • Owners: new Bookings, modifications, and cancellations.

  • Bookings: cart recovery and occupant changes.

  • Unified inbox: new messages.

  • Reviews: new Reviews, approved or rejected responses, and pending Reviews.ç

  • Web: new Bookings and information requests.

Useful tip

Review which types of notifications are truly useful and disable those that don’t add value to avoid overload.

In-app notifications

These are the notifications displayed within the VRMS interface. With them, you can:

  • Filter by date, category, or status.

  • Display only unread notifications.

  • Mark all as read at once.

  • Mark individual notifications as unread.

  • Identify those requiring resolution: they appear in yellow and remain pinned until you take action.

This configuration is individual for each user and does not affect the entire Company.

Push notifications

Also known as pop-ups, these are alerts that arrive directly on your device without needing to be logged into the system. They allow you to receive updates about Bookings, payments, tasks, or comments.

To activate them, you must:

  1. Grant permission on your device.

  2. Enable push notifications in VRMS.

How to configure notifications

  1. In the upper right corner, click the Notifications bell icon.

  2. A side window titled Notifications will open.

  3. Click the Configure button.

  4. Select the notifications you wish to receive and click Save.

Search Bar

The Search Bar allows you to locate information in seconds and access frequent functions instantly.

What can you search for?

From the top bar, you can search for:

  • Bookings

  • Customers

  • Accommodations

  • Owners

Simply type a name, Booking Reference, or other relevant data, and the system will instantly display matching results.

Quick Access: available functions

When you opeWhen you open the Search Bar, a panel appears with shortcuts to common tasks:

  • Availability search: check if an Accommodation is available by applying filters.

  • Arrivals next week: list of scheduled arrivals, with filters by Accommodation, region, language, date, or Customer.

  • Generate documents: create documents linked to Bookings or Accommodations (confirmations, cancellations, etc.) to view, print, or send.

  • New Booking: manually add a Booking.

  • New Accommodation: register a new Accommodation in the system.

  • Opportunities: create personalized proposals based on guest requests and send them by email.

  • Payments to receive in the last month: monitor pending or completed payments, with filters by date, status, and Accommodation

Step by step: how to make the most of the Search Bar

  1. Click the magnifying glass icon on the top bar.

  2. Type the term you want to find (for example, a name or Booking Reference).

  3. Review the automatically displayed results and select the relevant one.

Notifications keep you informed about everything happening in your business, while the Search Bar and Quick Access allow you to locate information or perform actions in just seconds.

What happens if I don’t enable notifications on my device?

You’ll still see notifications inside VRMS, but you won’t receive external alerts.

Can I configure notifications for the entire Company?

No. The configuration is individual—each user manages their own preferences.

Why am I not receiving notifications on my mobile device?

Check that you’ve granted notification permissions on your device and that your session is active.

Can I receive notifications on multiple devices at the same time?

Yes, as long as you’re logged in on each of them.

Are my recent searches saved?

No. The Search Bar always opens with a clean panel.

Is there any difference between searching here or from the main menus?

The information is the same, but the Search Bar saves steps and displays results more quickly.
