Boost your advertisements with the Improvement Center
When you manage accommodations, the same question always comes up: "What else can I do to improve?"
Sometimes you know there's room to grow, but you're not sure where to start.
The Improvement Center from Avantio is designed for exactly that. It's like having a personal advisor that analyzes your properties' performance and suggests concrete actions to help you get more bookings, reduce manual work, and improve your guests' experience. No more guesswork: you'll get specific recommendations for each accommodation, ready to apply quickly and easily.
🔹How does the Improvement Center work?
The system analyzes the entire customer journey, from the moment they search to the end of their stay. This journey is known as the conversion funnel, and at every stage, there's a risk the traveler will drop out.
The Improvement Center spots these friction points and turns them into opportunities: it shows you what adjustments you can make to strengthen each step and move toward a confirmed booking.
🔹Improvement categories: your roadmap
Opportunities are grouped into categories that match different stages of the funnel and key areas of your daily management.
Improvements focused on the conversion funnel
Increase your availability: tips to show up in more searches.
Ranking position: actions to climb higher in portal listings.
Accommodation visits: ideas to attract more clicks to your advertisements.
Conversion: keys to turning visits into confirmed bookings.
Reduce your cancellations: adjustments to cut down on unnecessary cancellations.
Improvements for your management
Reduce your workload: automate manual tasks and save time.
Increase guest loyalty: suggestions to encourage guests to return.
Other: suggestions that don't fit previous categories but are still relevant.
🔹Manage your opportunities
On the main page, you'll find all available opportunities. You can filter them by status, category, or accommodation. Each improvement can be in one of these statuses:
Unread: new recommendations detected.
Read: already viewed, but not yet applied.
Pending update: you've made the change and the system is verifying it.
Completed: the adjustment has been implemented and validated correctly.
Postponed: you decided to leave these for later. They don't have any specific markup to identify them and can be found using the filter.
Pay attention to details: postponed improvements
If you postpone an improvement, it will be hidden for seven days. After that, it will reappear as "Unread" so you don't lose track of it.
Most improvements are not resolved automatically or immediately.
They need to be completed on the relevant platform (VRMS, Channel PRO, or the portal's extranet).
Once the change is made, the system detects it through the connection and reflects it in the Improvement Center. The status will change to "Completed" within a maximum of 24 hours.
⚙️Step by step: how to apply an improvement
Applying an improvement is simple, but remember: the change is not made automatically. You decide when and where to apply it.
Open the opportunity: click on the card to see the full description and the accommodations involved.
Identify where to act: icons will show you if the change should be made in the VRMS, in Channel PRO, or in a portal's extranet.
Make the adjustment: go to the indicated platform and apply the suggested action.
Wait for validation: the system will detect the change and, within a maximum of 24 hours, will mark the improvement as "Completed".
🔹Main benefit

🔹Frequently asked questions
I've made a change, but the improvement still shows as pending. Why?
That's normal. The system needs up to 24 hours to sync the information and mark the improvement as completed.
Are improvements applied automatically when I click?
No. The Improvement Center tells you what to do and where, but you need to make the change on the relevant platform.
Why don't all categories appear in the filters?
The filter only shows categories where you have active opportunities. If one doesn't appear, it means there are currently no improvements available for that area.
What happens if I postpone an improvement?
It will be hidden for seven days so you can focus on other priorities. After that, it will show up again as "Unread".
