Manage Multi-Unit Accommodations on Airbnb through the Avantio Channel PRO

List multiple units under a single listing on Airbnb. If you manage apartments in the same building, rooms within the same accommodation or even identical villas in the same resort, you can synchronise them seamlessly to Airbnb thanks to our multi-unit compatibility.

What is a Multi-Unit?

A multi-unit refers to several identical accommodations that share the same photo gallery in VRMS. These units must have the same features, amenities, rates, and occupancy rules because Airbnb displays them as a single listing.

Common examples include:

  • A building with several identical apartments

  • A hostel with separate rooms

  • Multiple studios at the same address

How Multi-Units Are Displayed on Airbnb

Airbnb will show one listing for all units in the group. However, the calendar will reflect the combined availability of every unit.
This means you can receive as many bookings as the total number of units available on any given date.

Review the calendars of all shared units in VRMS and, when possible, manually move reservations to create larger blocks of availability. This helps Airbnb display more open dates to guests.

How the synchronisation works via Avantio

The Avantio content API connects with Airbnb and automatically sends:

  • The number of units available for each day

  • Real-time prices

  • Real-time availability

Remember that only the "parent" accomodation will be available to connect in the Channel PRO. However, you will see the list of shared units under the 'Grouped accommodations' when clicking on the property from the 'Activation of accommodations' section.

Airbnb Limitation:

Due to an Airbnb restriction, multi-units cannot be created for the property type House.
If several houses share the same gallery, the calendar will be closed after the first reservation is received — regardless of remaining unit availability.

In summary: The multi-unit feature allows you to manage identical accommodations under a single Airbnb listing. This improves occupancy, prevents unnecessary calendar blocks, and simplifies the management of similar units.
