Price management is a critical aspect of managing accommodations. The rate listing interface in VRMS offers a clear, modern, and agile experience that simplifies daily tasks, facilitates issue detection, speeds up rate assignment, and strengthens the technological foundation for growth. Additionally, it retains all necessary functionalities with an intuitive design.

Access and Permissions

  • Create and Edit Rates: Administrator; Bookings Manager; Revenue Manager; Owners (from their Intranet) with "Edit" permission.

  • Read-Only Access: Bookings Profile; Owners (from their Intranet) with "View" permission.

  • No Access: the rest of the profiles do not have visibility over the rate interface.

Location

  • Revenue Module: full access to the listing with all available actions, from Revenue → Rate Listing.

  • Owner's Intranet: accessible from the usual menu; the display and functionalities automatically adapt according to the permission ("View" or "Edit").

Visible Information in the Listing

  • Name of each rate.

  • Minimum and maximum price per night for current and future seasons.

  • Supplement for additional person in current seasons.

  • Number of accommodations associated with each rate rule.

  • Total seasons configured for each rule (current and future).

  • Expiration date of the last configured season.

  • Date of the last rate modification.

  • Author of the last modification (internal user or Revenue partner).

Filters

Access the filters by clicking the gray button with switch icons, next to the "Create" option in Revenue → Rates.

You can search for rates by:

  • Name

  • Accommodation

  • Status

  • Application Seasons

  • Base Prices

Assignment

  • Click the yellow "Unassigned Accommodations" button, located under the "Create" button.

  • Identify accommodations without an assigned rate.

  • Filter accommodations to select and assign them a rate.

  • Assign an existing rate to accommodations without a rate.

  • Reassign an existing rate to accommodations that already have another associated.

  • Receive a warning when an accommodation already has an assigned rate.

  • Receive a notification if a rate is left without assigned accommodations; in that case, you will be informed that the rate will be deleted.

Editing

  • Click the button with three dots on any of the rates and select "Edit Rate."

  • Filter and select accommodations to assign a rate.

  • Assign or reassign rates to accommodations with or without previous rules.

  • Receive warnings if an accommodation already has another assigned rate.

  • Be notified if a rate is left without assigned accommodations.

  • Edit each rule individually from the listing; the creation flow remains unchanged.

  • It is also possible to duplicate or edit multiple rates in bulk from a slide view.

Deletion

  • Click the button with three dots on any of the rates and select "Delete."

  • You can delete rates individually or in bulk.

  • Always confirm deletion through a warning pop-up.

  • Accommodations from deleted rates will automatically appear in the "Unassigned Accommodations" selector.

Owner's View

The owner sees the same columns, limited to their accommodations:

  • If they have a single accommodation, they will see a single associated rate.

  • In rules that group multiple accommodations, they will only see theirs.

  • With "View": access to basic information, without buttons or actions.

  • With "Edit": access to editing and renewing seasons.

  • If they have accommodations without a rate, they can assign an existing rate from the interface.

The rate interface allows better management of current and future information, detecting issues before they affect bookings. This means more control, fewer errors, and smoother management for the team.

What happens if I delete a rate that is in use?

The associated accommodations automatically appear in the "Unassigned Accommodations" list, so you can reassign them.

Can an owner create rates from their intranet?

Yes, as long as they have the "Edit" permission.

Can past or historical rates be viewed?

No. The list focuses on current and future rates.

How do I know if an accommodation doesn't have an assigned rate?

The system shows it in the "Accommodations without rate" filter, so you can assign one immediately.
